When the garage door opener works intermittently the logic board may be experiencing radio frequency rf interference from nearby sources such as security lights ham radios and some electronics. After pressing the learn button on the side of the motor your partner will have 30 seconds to enter the code into the keypad. Press and hold the lock button for 2 seconds to disable the feature. Test the outlet plugging in a lamp or another appliance into the same outlet.

If the remote works only when held within a few feet of the motor unit rf interference is probably the problem. If the outlet does not work check your home fuses and circuit breakers. If the garage door opener lights blink twice when you press the remote check the wall control to see if you have the lock feature enabled. Make sure the outlet is switched on if your home has on off switches fitted to its outlets.

The lock button feature disables all remotes. A phillips screwdriver and a new 9v battery is all you need for t. If the green light blinks on the wall control the lockout feature is on.
